Daughter likes the fit and the added protection. I would have usually ordered her an AS but the YXL is a good fit so I recommend following the sizing charts.

My daughter says she really likes this jersey and the fabric is thicker than jerseys she has used in the past. This has pluses and minuses for her—very protective but sometimes she says she gets too hot. As a parent on the sidelines, I have seen how this has upped her game. She is so protected that she is more willing to throw herself in front of a ball to prevent a goal. I didn’t think equipment like this would boost her confidence, but it really has made a huge difference!

My daughter is a full time keeper. These launder and dry easily. She has two, the yellow/strike with black and the opposite version that’s mostly black. They are well made and the padding is well placed, but the jersey is also the best looking - by far. This is not the only Storelli product we have gravitated to and it won’t be the last. My daughter wears between a women’s small and medium most of the time in normal clothing. The Youth XL was too tight, so she wears the Adult Small. The mostly black version has a much tougher fabric in front which I prefer as it hasn’t snagged at all and gets the most play time. The mostly Strike yellow one we have is kind of a thinner weaved fabric in front and does have snags but they are minor and not noticeable unless you’re looking for it. That fabric probably allows for better airflow though, so that’s something to consider if you live in a hotter area.
