Sicario SpeedGrip® Glove
Italian for "Trained assassin," Sicario is the minimalist glove for keepers who demand intense control and feel on the ball.
You have never experienced anything like this.
Sicario is the first glove to combine minimalist principles without compromising cushion (3MM) and latex quality (3.5MM top-tier German latex). The design is lighter, fits like a second skin and is the only glove with our own SpeedGrip® lining to glue your fingers to the ball, and a stretchy diamond-shaped neoprene backhand to flex your fingers at will.
Features a revolutionary Concave Cut™ which maximizes the curvature of the palm for controlling the ball and stretches to the size of your hand.
My son is wearing these and absolutely LOVES the way they fit! He can make a fist in them and they have nice padding. No finger protectors. Comfortable and the best fit he has found! He tried the medium at fist but they were too big! The small fit perfectly!
Recently switched to this glove a few months back for U16 ECNL play. Excellent glove. Negative cut for snug fingers, great traction and comfortable design. Highly recommended.
I've been looking for a nice inexpensive pair of gloves that were not bulky an had spines to protect my daughters hands for 3 years now an we finally found the pair she absolutely loves!!! These not only protect her hand but have literally the best grip when saving the ball!! Its like they have glue on them!! The shes have the problem of the ball slipping off her hands!!! Hands down best pair of gloves for the right price!! Will definitely buy another pair for back up!! Thank you!!
These gloves have the right idea and I can't wait for version 2.0 to come out. The ball control is amazing. but the durability is lacking in my opinion. Since they are so slimmed down I want to see a more durable latex used next time, something that can hold up to turf because out here in Brooklyn that's all we play on.
Great ball control and awesome wrist support! But..... Fit is not like a normal keeper glove which is kind of annoying. The medium fits me snug but a large would be too loose. Also finger started to rip on first use on turf. Which is almost all we play on in Brooklyn, Storelli knows that being they are out of Brooklyn. Love the idea of the glove but for turf not worth the price.
I'm an experienced, older indoor goalkeeper and am new to the minimalist glove trend. But, I'm instantly finding that I love it! I have used two sets of large, and find them to be the perfect glove for my game - light, grippy, comfortable. I love the ball handling feel with them. My ONLY two complaints are - I think that black gloves, while cool looking (my teammates now call me the silver ninja because of all the black Storelli gear I wear, and with my grey beard...) do not distract a shooter, or intimidate them, as much as I'd like. I want a shooter to see my hands and think they have no chance. Also, the 3mm latex, while grippy and high quality, isn't as thick as I sometimes want, so when very strong shot takers are on the other side I sometimes wear my Puma One Hybrid. For most games, these are my go to gloves. I'm trying out a medium to see if they work even better a little tighter. Thanks, Storelli!
I'm new to the concept of minimalist gloves, and I bought these as an experiment. First, Storelli was fantastic when the medium, which is perhaps the right size, felt a little binding between my fingers, and their return policy is easy and hassle free. Once I played with these gloves, I almost instantly realized they suit my style perfectly. I like light, I like grippy, and I like form fitting (even though I've found I also like a size up, so they are just a bit closer to the oversized gloves older keepers like me learned with). I play indoor almost exclusively, and I feel these gloves enhance my quickness, my ability to catch all but the hardest shots (they don't have as much padding/shock absorption as 4mm, traditional gloves), are fantastic for ball handling and distribution, and overall are generally just perfect. But what sealed the deal for me, I used them for a few games, liked them, saw the online review Storelli posted (Alberto Ruiz soccer -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNeG-oHf9Zg). Ruiz liked them, but liked the Puma One Grip 1 Hybrid better. So, I bought a pair of those. Tried them once. They are nice, indeed, but when I go back to the Sicarios, I know they're the right gloves for me. Light, nimble, well constructed, the real deal. I just bought a second pair!
