      Leg guard is great

      As a goalie, I’m looking for protection. I can’t get on board with the tic tac boxes they call shin guards anymore. These have been great, and give me that extra confidence to take on a break away striker. However the shin guards have a tighter curve than my massive calves allow for and it does pinch a bit. If we could get some inserts that were flexible plates that fit the sleeve, that would be perfection.

      My goal keeper likes these so much we bought more pairs to rotate them. Her shin guards slide in nicely and they keep the guard from sliding sideways. They do get a bit uncomfortable in hot weather with socks over them but she still loves them. We wash in machine and line dry and they have lasted quite a while, minus the Storelli logo that has peeled off. The side padding helps, although it's sadly not going to stop a Striker's foot as well as a shin guard.
